GenAI Onboarding Page Overview
The GenAI onboarding page provides a centralized view for managing AI model integrations across cloud environments. Under the AWS, Azure, GCP, tabs, users can link their respective cloud accounts to begin tracking and governing model usage.
Why this matters: AI spend is easy to lose track of because it comes from everywhere at once — a model called directly through OpenAI's API, the same model called again through a cloud marketplace, a self-hosted gateway routing to a dozen providers at once. Without a single place pulling all of that together, "what are we spending on AI" becomes a question nobody can actually answer with confidence. This page is that single place — one account list, however many providers sit behind it.
This shows up differently depending on your role:

FinOps managers use this to catch AI spend sprawl early — a new provider account showing up here is often the first signal that a team started using a new model without anyone budgeting for it.

Platform and DevOps teams use this to onboard the actual integrations (API keys, gateway connections) and keep them healthy — the Status column is their at-a-glance health check.

Finance leaders use the Models and Billing Account columns to tie AI consumption back to the accounts actually being invoiced.
Each entry under a cloud provider includes:

Account ID and Account Name for identification

Billing Account associated with model consumption

Models shows the number of AI models detected

Status indicates if the integration is active

Created timestamp for when the account was onboarded

Use the + Account button to onboard Open AI account.
Public Cloud Onboarding
Once you have connected the billing account from the Public Cloud section, GenAI accounts with AI services enabled will be automatically discovered. You can connect them by simply clicking the '+Connect' button, and the GenAI Cost Dashboard will begin displaying data for those accounts within 24 hours.
