Overview dashboard comes pre-built with essential widgets that provide a broad view of your cloud, Kubernetes, AI, and SaaS spend, along with savings opportunities and cost trends.
Why this matters: this is what everyone sees the moment they log in, so the widgets on it were chosen to answer the most common first question — "where does our money go, and is anything worth acting on right now" — without anyone having to build a dashboard themselves first. It combines total spend across every cost source with savings opportunities and trend direction, so a five-second glance tells you both the current state and whether it's moving in a good or bad direction.

Each widget has a More Details icon in its top-right corner. Clicking it opens a modal showing the full detailed cost chart and breakdown table from that widget's own dashboard — for example, Total Cloud Spend's More Details opens the Cost dashboard's Cost Chart, and Total GenAI Spend's opens the GenAI Cost dashboard's chart, both with the same filters and monthly breakdown table you'd see on the full page. This lets you drill into any spend category without leaving the Overview page.

The Share, Bookmark, Subscription, Screenshot, Reload, and Help icons in the toolbar work the same way here as on other dashboards — see the Cost page's Header Icons section for what each one does.
