Total Costs

The Total Costs widget shows the cost of the selected SaaS provider

• Percentage Indicators: Compares current month costs to the previous month. The first and current month will not show percentage changes.

• Forecast: Provides an estimate of the current month's spend to aid in budget planning.

Top Workspaces

The Top Workspaces widget displays a donut chart representing the highest-costing workspaces.

• Slice Size: Proportional to workspace spend.

• Interactivity: Hover to see costs; click to drill into detailed charts and cost items.

• Use Case: Helps identify the most expensive workspaces for targeted optimization.

Top Clusters

The Top Clusters widget shows which compute clusters contributed the most to your SaaS cost.

• Displayed As: Tabular format with cluster IDs and associated spend.

• Drilldown: Clicking enables detailed exploration via cost chart and items.

• Insight: Useful for infrastructure cost monitoring and optimization.

Top Services

The Top Services widget presents a breakdown of costs by service type (e.g., SQL, ALL_PURPOSE, INTERACTIVE).

• Pie Chart View: Proportional costs for each service.

• Click for Details: Opens up cost charts and items filtered by the selected service.

• Purpose: Highlights top cost drivers by service.

SaaS Cost Chart

This bar chart visually shows your total cost trends over time.

• Time Periods: Customizable (e.g., Last 3 months).

• X-Axis Options: Dates, accounts, workspace, etc.

• Group By: Break down by account, workspace, or other criteria.

• Click Bars: Reveal cost items for that period.

• Forecast Line: Shows future projected spend.

• Sorting/Search: Supports column sorting and keyword filtering.

• Download: Export results to CSV.

• Settings: Customize columns displayed.

Header Icons

• Share: Copy the link with filters applied.

• Screenshot: Capture current view as PDF.

• Info: Last updated timestamp.

• Reload: Resets all filters.

• Help: Opens documentation.

Cost Filter

Basic Filter

• Filter by provider, billing account, service, location, etc.

• Filters adjust dynamically based on selections for context-sensitive filtering.

Advanced Filter

• Combine multiple filters with logic (e.g., IN, NOT IN).

• Use "Group" to cluster filters.

• Apply, clear, or cancel as needed.

Tips for Use

• Click on any widget, chart, or geo-point to drill into filtered cost items.

• Expand charts or restore them to default view using the icons.

• Select number of rows to adjust pagination in tables.
