[Automation] Azure Subscription Account Onboarding for Target

Steps to perform by Target:

  • To manage an Azure Active Directory (AAD) app and create a client secret, the Active Directory administrator role is required.

  • To assign permissions to the Azure Active Directory (AAD) app, it is recommended to have the Owner role. Alternatively, you can have both the Contributor and User Access Administrator roles.

  • To proceed with the following steps, you'll need a command. Please consult your partner to obtain the command

  • Upon receiving the command from the partner company, run the command in azure cli

  • After successful onboarding of usage account, you need to share the creds with your partner company.

Capture the below details and share them with your partner.

  1. Subscription ID

  2. Active Directory (Tenant) ID

  3. Application (Client) ID

  4. Application (Client) Secret
